The MG Evans Trophy is awarded by Staffordshire Amateur Swimming Association annually to the individual or club is adjudged to be the most meritorious for the year
Emma represented Staffordshire 30 times and still holds 5 Senior and 6 Junior County
At the age of 16 she won gold at both the UK School Games and at the National Championships.
She swam at the World Championships in Rome and Shanghai and in 2011 was selected to represent Great Britain.
In 2012 she decided to take a gap year from studying biosciences to fully focus on preparing for selection for the Olympics in London. She now trains at Loughborough alongside some of the UK’s top swimmers to try and qualify at the second stage selection in Sheffield to be part of the 100m freestyle relay team.
